The pups are gone…I met my mom yesterday for lunch to catch up about her trip and exchange the girlies…and the apartment is back in order and definitely quiet. I’m enjoying it for now but I know I’ll be missing these cute faces.
Yesterday in class we had a project…
Designing the new food pyramid. Spaghetti and marshmallows. White carbs and simple sugars for life.
Just kidding. It was a team-building exercise in my community nutrition class. A nice change of pace from power points for sure.
They offer a ton of products from ID bracelets, to ankle bands, and shoe pouches set to be personalized with emergency contact information for you to wear, especially if you are out biking/running/whatever. Perfect and crucial for solo-exercisers.
I have wanted to get one for a while so when she posted about it, I knew I had to make a move and just invest in one! As an often-solo-runner, it is so important that if anything should happen, someone would know who to reach out to get help.
I bought the wrist ID slim in green and put my emergency contact information on it. You can also add motivational sayings if you have room so I put my current one… “Positive Focus.” booyah.
I have to say I am SO impressed with the company and their service. I accidentally did not read the wrist size descriptions, ordered a small, and got a bracelet that would fit a small child, not a ‘grown’ woman’…oops. What is that saying about reading all directions?…I forget…
So, I emailed their customer service, explaining the situation and seeing if I could ship the band part back to have it replaced. They emailed me immediately saying that would ship out a band that day in a bigger size…Free of Charge! That is customer service you do not see everyday!
It came in this cute box too. It’s no Tiffany’s box but it’s a close second…
What’s even better? They invited me to share a code that can be used up to 20 times for a $1 off an order.

I’ve started running regularly every week with my friend Jordan and definitely plan on wearing it.
For now, I am off to do LiveFit Day 25 legs..I’m almost out of Phase 1! I have mixed feelings about it. Part of me thinks I could use some more time in the building phase and I’m not sick of the workouts yet, but I guess a change will be good. We’ll see how it goes. Then I’ll be in the library doing statistical analysis for my thesis all day, yuck.
Anyone good at stats want to come help me?! Have a great day!
