Do you use recipe substitutions when cooking to make recipes healthier?  I found this huge list of 80! recipe substitutions

Some I’ve used before:

-Subbing black beans in recipes, such as brownies like Happy Herbivore’s Black Bean Brownies (so good!)

-Using whole wheat flour for white

-Unsweetened applesauce for butter or oil

-Greek yogurt for sour cream like my topping for my Black Bean Mexican Casserole

Some fun ones I want to try:

-Marshmallow fluff for butter and sugar in frosting (I love marshmallow fluff!)

-Avocado purée for butter

-Sliced tomatoes for tomato sauce on pizza
